Splitting Hairs, Take 2

My hair trial was a few weeks ago. Today's the first chance I've had to review the photos of the two styles we tried. Now that I'm looking at the pictures... uhmmm, I'm not really happy with either one. (Caveat: I'm my own worst critic. Throw in some lovely hormones mixed with under 12 days left until W-Day and you get a stomachful of knots.) The good news is I re-looked at my inspiration images and have isolated what needs to change. The bad news is I no longer trust my own opinion so I need to see it on me to know for sure. What I think would look good on me could be a disaster and there's only the morning of left to figure this out.

Splitting Hairs

I'm experiencing a bit of hair indecision. Confession time! I haven't had a hair trial yet. I booked my hairstylist without meeting her! Don't worry - I will have a hair trial, eventually. But because I haven't tried any of the hairstyles below, I'm not sure which is best for my gown, hair flower and personal style. So, I'm looking to you ladies for recommendations and advice! You can weigh in at the end of the post.

If you're going to San Francisco

Around the time Miss Lox discussed the possibility of becoming the Imelda of hair flowers, it dawned on me that I hadn't even thought of what I'd put in my hair. Long ago, I decided that a veil was not for me. (I gave it 1, 2, 3 tries. Three tries, ladies. Moving on.) I needed something bridal on my head. If it wasn't going to be a veil, then a hair flower it would be. So began the search...

Just a snip

In preparation for next week's engagement shoot, I stopped in to see my hair dresser for quick cut. Even though it was cut less than two months ago, it was losing shape and getting leggy. Now, I'm the type of girl who goes once every 4 months... about the time when I notice it looks shaggy, procrastinate, then forget to schedule an appointment for two more weeks.

Yes, that's the Flowbee. source

I feel more polished and know that confidence will carry over into our shoot.
